The Graduate Pedagogy Association, in collaboration with the Center for Engaged Teaching and Learning, is hosting the Principles of Pedagogyworkshop series centered on the book "How Learning Works" by Ambrose, S. A., Bridges, M. W., DiPietro, M., Lovett, M. C., and Norman, M. K. (2010).The goal of these workshops is to provide graduate students with a strong foundation in pedagogy for those interested in bolstering their pedagogicalmethodologies or even their teaching philosophy statements. For graduate students with teaching assistant appointments (including those interested inworking as teaching assistants or as instructors of reporting), these workshops will prepare them to teach in the classroom. Each workshop will behosted by a guest speaker (the next speaker is currently TBD).
