QT Career Day is a dynamic 3-part event designed to empower Queer and Trans (QT) students as they explore pathways to meaningful internships and employment. Through a series of intentional, identity-centered workshops and panels, this day aims to foster community, build confidence, and connect QT students with affirming professional opportunities. Students across all UC’s are invited to join the virtual events. About this session: This virtual session will teach participants the basics of networking and demystify common misconceptions on the topic. Participants can expect to learn:
How to incorporate their identities into networking conversations
Strategies for building a professional community and support system
Identifying professional and career goals and creating a plan
A Zoom link will be emailed to all registered attendees prior to the event. All students are welcome to attend this event. This particular event intentionally centers the experiences, needs, and voices of Queer and Trans students. All UC-based Career Offices’ websites, resources, programs, and events comply with federal and state non-discrimination laws, reflect our institutional values, and are open to all members of the campus community.
