Engineers Week: High Speed Rail Webinar
In honor of Engineers Week, please join the California High-Speed Rail Authority for an online webinar as we talk to a few of the professional engineers working on delivering the nation’s first high-speed rail system. Participants will hear from teams that are designing complex structures for electrified trains running at over 200mph. We’ll also hear from the teams designing the precision Overhead Control System that will deliver the power needed to operate the trains safely and efficiently. Additionally we’ll hear from the small business team working on how to capture and store the solar energy we’ll need to power the cleanest transportation system in the nation.
