The University of Illinois, Urgana-Champaign offers a Master of Science degree in Health Technology. The degree is designed to educate the next generation of Health Technology Professionals in the development, testing, and use of new consumer-facing technologies that promote health, rehabilitation, mitigate disability, and improve independence and quality of life. This includes bringing end-users (e.g., individuals with chronic conditions, older adults, persons with disabilities), industry professionals, and applied health professionals together with Illinois students and faculty in a multidisciplinary and inter-generational environment to identify existing problems and develop technologies to solve them.
