TThe Educational Opportunity Outreach Project aims at outreaching to scholars eligible for the Guardian Scholars Program and/or Underground Scholars Initiative. The Guardian Scholars Program provides services for scholars that have experienced the foster care system and/or homelessness. The Underground Scholars Initiative, on the other hand, provides services to scholars that have been impacted or experienced the juvenile and/or criminal justice system. The Student Success Intern will support outreach efforts through the creation of outreach materials and well as by providing one on one assistance to scholars transitioning to UC Merced.
